OUR SERVICES

SAY WHAT YOU STAND FOR. THEN STAND FOR IT.

Vision, mission and values can be some of the most important words a business writes.

They can also be some of the most meaningless.

If they only exist on a website, in a strategy document or framed on an office wall, they’re not doing much.

Done properly, they help people understand where the business is going, why it exists and how it intends to behave on the way there.

VISION, MISSION & VALUES

MORE THAN WORDS

Your vision gives you somewhere to head.

Your mission helps explain why you’re going there.

Your values influence how you behave while you do it.

Together, they can provide a reference point for decisions, culture, recruitment, communication and growth.

But they need to belong to the business.

CALLCUT helps you get beyond the words you think you should use and uncover the ones that actually mean something.

FINDING WHAT’S ALREADY THERE

YOU DON’T HAVE TO INVENT A PURPOSE

Often, the foundations already exist.

They’re in the decisions you make without thinking. The things you refuse to compromise on. The customers you want to work with. The way you treat people. The ambitions you keep returning to. Even the things that irritate you about your own industry.

The work is often less about inventing something new and more about recognising what is already there, making sense of it and putting it into words.

And sometimes the process reveals a gap between what a business says and what it actually does.

That’s useful too.

FROM WORDS TO BEHAVIOUR

MAKE THEM EARN THEIR PLACE

Once you’ve defined your vision, mission and values, the work isn’t finished.

Can people use them to make a decision?

Would your team recognise them?

Do they influence who you work with, how you communicate, what you prioritise and what you’re prepared to say no to?

If not, they may need another look.

CALLCUT can help you develop the thinking, challenge assumptions, find the language and then consider how those words translate into the business itself.

Because, once again, actions speak louder than words.

OUR OWN VALUES

WE HAVE THEM TOO

CALLCUT’s values have been part of the business for years. They aren’t conventional corporate values, and that’s rather the point.

INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY

DON’T SETTLE FOR EXCLUSION

Business is better when more people have the opportunity to contribute, participate and be heard.

For CALLCUT, inclusion isn’t about everybody thinking the same way. It means creating room for different people, experiences and perspectives — and being prepared to listen to them.

ETHICALLY SUSTAINABLE

DON’T SETTLE FOR SHORT-TERM THINKING

Good decisions need to work beyond today.

That means considering people, planet and commercial reality together, and recognising that the cheapest, quickest or easiest answer isn’t necessarily the best one.

CHILDLIKE DEVOTION

THERE’S NO SUCH WORD AS CAN’T

My grandad used to say it all the time.

Not because everything is possible, or because experience and reality don’t count, but because can’t can close down an idea before we’ve properly explored it.

Childlike devotion is about holding on to some of what comes naturally when we’re young: curiosity, imagination, enthusiasm and the willingness to ask “Why not?”

Experience teaches us what might go wrong.

Sometimes we also need to remember how to wonder what might go right.

BRAND VISION, MISSION & VALUES

WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR BUSINESS TO STAND FOR?

You don’t need three beautifully polished statements before you begin.

You may have fragments. You may have something written years ago that no longer fits. Or you may simply know that the business has changed and the words haven’t caught up.

That’s enough to start with.

CALLCUT can help you find what sits underneath it all and turn it into something your business can actually use.
